I Drew Neytiri from AVATAR!

Avatar, which was released in the year 2009, has been at the top of the list of most grossing movies of all time. The movie has earned $2,922,917,914 and the second installment will be released on December 16, 2022 in the USA and is still to be announced in other countries.

However, the official trailer for the abovementioned movie was already released by 20th Century Studios (an American film production company formerly known as 20th Century Fox) on their official YouTube channel as of early November 2022 and it has amassed more than 440 thousand views at the time of this writing, adding to the more than 34 million views the same video accumulated on Avatar’s official YouTube channel.

The ten year old kid inside me that loved this movie back in ’09 is more than happy to know that it will indeed have a second installment. So happy, in fact, that I have created a digital artwork of Neytiri!

Neytiri is one of the main characters in the movie, the princess of her clan who happens to be the love interest of Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully who she met in the forest where she helped protect him from a pack of viperwolves which are powerful, carnivorous creatures that resemble wolves.

She is played by none other than Zoe Saldana, the second-highest-grossing film actress of all time (as of 2019), who is more commonly known for her role as Gamora in “The Guardians of the Galaxy” and other Marvel movies.
